With my thanks for following my verses on this blog, I wish everyone the very best for next year.
With no regrets, we say goodbye to 2020.
It’s on to 2021, that we can’t wait to see.
The past year leaves all with stories to tell.
Often with a wish that those we know are well.
We look forward to better days in the new year.
Always keeping in touch all those that we hold dear.
There will be a new list of tasks to complete.
Noting the poor choices, we plan never to repeat.
For all the New Year’s resolutions that we make,
What will be the first one that we must break?
