David and Carole Dance Again

December 11, 2022 by Bill McNulty

Some background for this verse.  Two months ago, my brother,

David died.  This past week, his wife, Carole, died. Someone had

said, now they will be dancing in heaven. Now you have this verse.

We can see David at heaven’s gate welcoming Carole in.

All of the parents in the background with a knowing grin.

Somewhere over the rainbow, the dance music will begin.

For David and Carole. as beautiful as it has ever been.

Those familiar steps so well done in that slow dance.

In heaven or on earth, we know it’s love and romance

Perhaps remembering the early days as bride and groom.

They continue to waltz around that heavenly ballroom.

As we let the legend of David and Carole dancing grow.

We have set the scene for one lasting Broadway show.
