No blog posts lately. Working on another book of poems. We will keep you posted.
A strong voice that only you can hear.
A soft whisper from one you hold dear.
Parents treasured words still ring in your head.
Friends words that you wish you had said.
A light that leads you down the path you take.
There will always be a tough decision to make.
Some come with more than a little heartache.
Many a night, that call may keep you awake.
Let that little voice always be your guide.
Know with comfort, it’s always by your side.
With your team, when baseball is the sport.
There’s many highs and lows, we can report.
162 games equal a long season.
Not rooting for the home team is treason.
Pop ups drop but a line drive is caught.
Another relief pitcher is always sought.
Leave the pitcher in or when to pinch hit.
It works when each player does his bit.
The second guessing will never stop.
Need another hitter, a bat with some pop.
Who’s hot, who’s not, in the long pennant race
Always determines who finishes in first place.
With some help, we have a new blog site and poetry web site to share with everyone. It is still a work in progress as I learn how to navigate all the new options. I would appreciate comments and suggestions. I may reach out to some of you to verify that I still have the correct email address.
Thank you for the interest in reading what I have to share. I am always touched by your comments
I have had the opportunity to write poems about events, people, volunteers
and thoughts about a variety of subjects. Your comments are always something that I enjoy reading. I am open to suggestions for the next poem.
Send me a note with your ideas.
Also, if you have not donated for a book of our poems, there are books available. $18. donation to Or Shalom, Stephen McNulty Fund and I will
autograph a book and send it to you. Details needed? send me a note.
Many thanks to all
