Footprints In The Snow

February 20, 2023 by Bill McNulty

Easy to see those footprints in the snow,

Can you imagine where they will go?

Perhaps a young child seeing their first snowy season.

Adults moving quickly, you know they must be freezin’

Double lines with boot prints, a child pulling their sled.

Paw prints with boot prints, showing a dog being led.

A handful of snow gone, look out for a flying snowball.

Always an adventure when the first snow begins to fall.

Snow angels and many small steps with children at play.

And so many more can’t wait for the snow to melt away.
