Maxine

July 22, 2015 by Bill McNulty

Last week, we lost our friend, Maxine.  I wrote this for her birthday
this year.  She was a special lady in so many ways.

For Maxine

Sweet Maxine, always there to welcome and greet you,
That warm smile and sincere interest to meet you.
Here we are with another Birthday to celebrate,
For any event, always there to help and collaborate.
Off to the lodge for another card game to play.
Out to lunch with the ladies on any given day.
Generous, spiritual, learned are some of her traits.
Perhaps, now you know with us, she really rates
All the nice things, we all say are a happy refrain.
This is my salute the Grand Lady of Sheridan Lane.
