I wrote this almost 7 years ago. With all that surrounds me, it seems write to share this with you today.
This year, I reach the age of Seventy,
Knowing one of these days, I face mortality.
No sorrow or sadness, just nature’s reality.
Makes you wonder about the finality.
Have you provided for your wife,
Can she truly prosper in her life.
Sometimes, with your head lost in a cloud,
Has your life been one to make your parents proud.
Mom and Dad, I am really proud of the roles that I play,
Consider yesterday, know tomorrow, but live for today.
