Mirrors and Reflections

April 20, 2026 by Bill McNulty

You look in the mirror and what do you see.

On a good day, a reflection that is worry free

It’s always nice to look and see a happy smile

It’s always nice to admire a handsome profile.

And yes, your hair is thinner and much more grey

Always looking forward to the wonder of this day.

The mirror can show thinking about what to say

Others worried about the emotions they portray

You see your smiling wife standing behind you.

Your bare tush and she is still enjoying the view

Let your moody frown disappear without a trace

Now you can greet the morning with a happy face
