Sounds If You Listen

October 12, 2026 by Bill McNulty

Some sounds can always ring in your head

Just maybe a new story you have just read

Sirens filling the air and sounding the alarm

Loud warning shouts to save you from harm

You awake from a nudge from the alarm clock

Unmistakable, the grandfather clock tick tock

A baby’s hungry cry, and time for baby to eat

The background drums, now you have the beat

Choir music done right to help you pray and rejoice

The sound you must hear is your wife’s sweet voice.
