Light And Dark

August 3, 2026 by Bill McNulty

Dark to light and tell me what you are able to see.

With closed eyes, you never see the world’s beauty.

Open your eyes to see the morning’s sunrise

Many will close their eyes for sad goodbyes.

For some they need the light to be ever so bright

Others will always need assistance to see the light

At times, night can be lit up by just a tiny spark

Creating a clear path leading one out of the dark.

Too many may reside in the dark just filled with dread

When you can, offer a light to journey the road ahead
